Inside Pregnancy: Weeks 10 - 14

The second episode of this animated series ranges from the 10th to the 14th weeks of pregnancy. With the development of his muscles and reflexes along with elongated limbs, your baby begins to flex, kick and move around within the womb. Internally, your baby's vital organs are rapidly developing and all ready functioning with the aid of the hard working umbilical chord.

"The biggest technical challenge with 10-14 was the prominence of the umbilical chord throughout the piece. For the first time we were able to bring some life into our baby model, and as a result, we needed a convincing solution for the interactivity of the chord with the baby. Through trial and error, we were able to utilize 3DS Max's built-in Reactor Dynamic utilities along with some hand key frames and creative compositing to get the look and feel we needed."
